Leading Human Givens psychotherapist, Pamela Woodford, was made a Fellow of the Human Givens Institute in recognition of her outstanding therapeutic work with children and young people.

She is the author of The Brighter Little Minds Series which she wrote after having developed a unique and creative approach to treating children and adolescents suffering from conditions ranging from eating disorders, depression, low self-esteem, anger management, anxiety and self-harm to autism, sleep problems, lack of confidence and fear of the dark.

Her proactive, intuitive and creative adaptation of the human givens approach has helped hundreds of children, adolescents and adults deal with challenging life circumstances, bringing understanding and meaning to their lives.

Some of Pamela's many case histories are featured in the best-selling books How to lift depression... fast, Freedom from Addiction and Release from Anger, all by Joe Griffin and Ivan Tyrrell, and in An Idea in Practice, which they edited.

For many years Pamela was the Principal Human Givens Psychotherapist for Brunel and Gordano Training, a highly successful training provider for adolescents, based in Bristol and North Somerset. Her considerable work there helped the organisation gain an OFSTED recommendation for good practice.
