Accredited prior learning

Part 1 of the Human Givens Diploma has evolved slightly from the one previously taught by MindFields College. We have refined this stage of the diploma in direct response to the feedback we have received from students about wanting more opportunity on our courses to practice the skills being taught (such as the rewind technique). We were also keen to include additional new information to give our students an even richer and deeper understanding of human psychology, behaviour and brain functioning, as well as allowing for more time to teach extra brief therapy skills and techniques that we knew people would find useful.

Thus on our new Part 1 programme we have extended certain courses so that they now cover two-days. This allows for a more efficient communication of information and additional time for learning and practicing an increased number of skills.

If you have already attended one or more MindFields' events, these will still count towards your Part 1 as what we call 'accredited prior learning'.

The following chart shows how the new courses relate to the original MindFields' courses and therefore how much accredited prior learning you have already and which courses you may still need to attend to complete your Part 1.
